Video: Cool female armed robber holds up Udon Thani gold shop

CCTV showed a cool and collected female pull a gun on a gold shop employee and make off with 100,000 baht worth of gold jewelry.

 

Another female accomplice was waiting in a getaway car outside.

 

The footage showed the woman - aged about 30 in a track suit with her face covered by a surgical mask - wait for several minutes as customers left the Theeraphan 4 shop in Nong Han district of the north eastern Thai province.

 

A Nong Han police patrol had been there minutes before.

 

The woman asked to see a one baht weight bracelet and after about 15 minutes chose one. She then pulled a gun on shop helper Phitaya.

 

Phitaya said she thought she was getting the money from her bag and was shocked that she got a gun and put it to her waist.

 

The owner was then threatened with the gun and handed over two more items of jewelry weighing two baht each.

 

The owner was told to hand over cash but she said that it had all been taken to the bank. She advised the robber to leave quickly as police were on their way.

 

The robber fled with five baht weight of gold worth around 100,000 baht. Outside the store a female accomplice was waiting in a Toyota Altis without plates.

 

Sanook described the armed robber as a cool operator.

 

Police were soon on the scene dusting for fingerprints and studying the CCTV and escape route of the villains.

A Thai ,Thelma and Louise, I could never understand the

benefits of those red boxes that the Police charge for,

they visit several times a day,all you do is wait till they are

gone,then rob the place.
