Rc2702 Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 My Mrs car is misbehaving. I thought our toddler may have touched a setting as he goes a bit mental in the drivers seat. Basically the right indicator clicks quicker than the left which performs as expected. Is this a simple mode change or an indication of something broken? See video 20180617_215920.mp4 1
Denim Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Relay switch might be broken or else a bulb is out somewhere. Pretty simple fix for any Toyota dealership. 1
Carib Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Sounds like a bulb is broken, that would be on the `faster clicking` side the indicator is set to. Turn on the hazard lights and walk around the car to see if all functions well. 2
Just Weird Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) One of the right-hand side indicator bulbs isn't working, that's why it clicks fast. The indicator light warning system does not have settings or the facility to change modes. Edited June 18, 2018 by Just Weird
Lancashirelad Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Not watched the video, no need. As has been said, its most likely a blown bulb or other simple lighting fault. i.e. a bad bulb connection or poor earth on one of the lights.
