how many hours from Poipet to Battambang by car, and by boat to Siem Reap?

Thanks

We went on that road a month ago, in Toyota Camrys, up and back. There'a almost no pavement all the way from Aranyapet to Siem Reap, incredibly bumpy and dusty and primitive and remote and.....worst road I've been on in many years. Very few services. Replace your shocks after you come back, because that road might destroy the shocks your car now has.

Yeh, i had heard that the road is very very bumpy, i want to compare with the rout from Poipet to Battambang then boat to Siem Reap, but no idea of that.

Thanks

Just to be clear, there is no way in hel_l, you should consider driving your own car from Thialand into Cambodia, down there and back.

Rent a car is much better; just park in Aranyaprathet, and get a renter.

Cambodia, despite popularity as the 'next Thailand' with some westerners getting sick of Thailand, is not that safe, and especially for people with a car that might be desirable for some Cambodians - it is definitely more like the wild west over there.
