All I can say is this is one insane ride. For years manufactures have brought their race cars and street cars to the Nurburgring in Germany for bragging rights. From year to year cars have shaved off a couple seconds off a lap to set new records. Porsche decided to send their hybrid race car to the track to set some records. Well they didn't shave a couple seconds off the record THEY SHAVED OFF 51 SECONDS. Yes, you read that correctly, 51 seconds. Watch this video on the biggest screen you can and put on some head phones to get the full effect. I saw 369kph down the back stretch. That's almost 230mph and if he had another gear he would have gone faster. Of course being an old racer I had to image a steering wheel and drive the track with the video. My hands were sweating after the first minute

It is more exciting to drive a slow car fast than......   Isn't that Micheal Schumacher?

Guess you never driven a fast car fast. Nothing more exhilarating in my opinion. And what is that comment about Schumacher supposed to mean? Poor guy will probably never walk let alone drive again since his skiing accident in 2013.
