Four dead, two seriously injured as pick-up slams into water truck in Suphanburi

Four people died and two others are in a serious condition after an accident near the Ban Don Jaeng intersection in Suphanburi this morning.

 

A pick-up driven by 31 year old Jirakit Sapwattanaphaisan slammed into the back of a municipal water truck.

 

Jirakit from Song Phi Nong district was killed at the scene along with Niwat Simmarong and an unnamed woman.

 

Aphisit Sonthat aged 22 was dead on arrival at the hospital.

 

Two more were gravely injured.

 

The driver is believed to have fallen asleep at the wheel after a night out.

 

The accident scene is on Route 321.

BS - please take blood test..what about not paying attention to his driving as why he ran into a stationary vehicle....always an external excuse but never the driver's abilities...

He was asleep at the wheel.. how could he be paying attention to anything other than the inside of his eyelids !!!

So it will be recorded officially as 3 traffic deaths.
