Trump seen likely to support NATO's Article 5 but wants more spending

Was great to see Trump sticking it to Germany about them paying large to Russia for energy, then expecting the US to protect them from Russia, while paying too little for their own defence.

While Washington is the largest contributor to "NATO common-funded budgets and programs," funding 22 percent of them, Berlin comes in second, paying for nearly 15 percent of the civil and military budgets and NATO's security investment program for 2016 and 2017.

Article 5 has been the backbone of NATO since it's inception. I would like to see Trump give his speech at NATO first and then subsequent leaders within NATO stand up and speak and call Trump out for

Even more amazing is this: House passes resolution in support of NATO by unanimous voice vote http://thehill.com/homenews/house/396536-house-passes-resolution-in-support-of-nato-by-unanimous

  • Again these totally incomparable percentages thrown around.

Meanwhile Trumps trade tariffs have led to China, Europe and elsewhere putting billions into the Russian (Putins) piggy bank in extra trade orders. His actions in Iran are leading to China taking over the 5Bn contract in the South Pars Gas Field, as Total pull out over fears of further American sanctions.

I wish Germany had the balls to tell the USA to get the frakk out of all the air bases and FOB's the US use in Germany. Trumps behavior yesterday was disgusting. I was proud to fly into a war zone in formation with US aircrew, if I were asked to do the same now I would not wish to. Trump has almost got the US back to the 1820's...Make America Suck Again.
