Blame the people that brought them to Chiang Mai in the first place !

Trap all the pigeons and give them to poor people to eat. Pigeon meat is very tasty. We used to shoot and eat them when we were young.

Low hanging fruit.  They'll be back today as long as both Chinese tourists and pigeons flock to Thapae Gate.

You don't see any pigeons in the Philippines.   In fact there doesn't appear to be many birds at all anywhere there.

Wait a minute,   Why not  encourage Filipinos to come to Thailand to rid LOS of the pigeons. ?

Supposedly this was in either a movie or a popular video played in China. So the Chinese tourists really go for it. That was originally fish food you bought to feed the fish in the moat on the north side of the square. Before the pigeon brigade took over.

Pigeons are feathered rats and something should be done. With the rain of this last week it smells like my old canary's bird cage when it needed to be cleaned. Serious go out there right now,  Wednesday, late morning  and walk around smelling the air. Yuck.

I thought with all the British people staying in Chiangmai they would have had wonderful time solving the problem with pigeon pie.

That would be those who started feeding them. Just stop the feeding and they'll disappear.

Actually I seem to remember that the first pigeons arrived shortly after a mass quantity disappeared from Sanam Luang in BKK. Bit of a coincidence!!

Not made with pigeons that live in cities as they carry too many diseases.  Field pigeons, from the country eat grains, etc., and those are the ones to eat.

"nuf sed.

Arrested ? They will be back tomorrow.

I assume you are only referring to the feathered variety of "birds"!

Indeed I as only referring to the feathered variety that flaps wings for flight.

Plenty of the other more delightful variety.

Will they doing bird for this?

They'll be up before the beak tomorrow.

There always was a problem in Thailand with people scattering their seed.

People pay money to feed flying rats? Seriously? Slim pickings for tourists here in Chiang Mai.... guess the boiled eggs at hot spring and 235 temples get boring....
