webfact Posted August 14, 2018 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Truck driver crushed to death as dump falls on him in Ratchaburi Picture: Daily News Ban Pong police were called to a cow rearing facility in Ratchaburi yesterday after a dump fell on a worker doing repairs. Fifty two year old Sompong Nokdam was found between the chassis and the dump section crushed to death. He had massive head trauma and there was a lot of blood and brain matter at the scene of the horrific accident, reported Daily News. Police were told that Sompong and made a delivery of animal feed from Kanchanaburi and had deposited his load successfully in a pile behind his truck. However, the mechanism then jammed and he was bashing a part of it with a hammer when it fell on him. I somehow suspect then that he was ignoring the standard procedure for rectifying the problem.
