WiFi Access Point/Repeaters

Featured Replies

There are many WiFi repeaters advertised on Lazada.

The wifi repeater I bought locally didn't last too long and overheated and failed.

Anyone bought a unit that they would recommend from Lazada?

Thanks

1. A brand name device

2. Same brand like the WiFi device which you want to "repeat"

I'm interested in a device that someone can recommend and available on Lazada.

Try this: https://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?q=wifi+repeater+asus

Then replace ASUS with the name of the WiFi devices which you have already.

And if you have a WiFi device from NoNameNoWork then maybe think about replacing all of it or maybe you don't even need a repeater if you have a decent Router with WiFi or a WiFi AP.

The important part is that it works for you. There is no point of recommending repeater B if it does not work with your WiFi device from A.

Sorry, I haven't made myself clear. There are many wifi extenders/repeaters/access points, both single and dual frequency advertised on Lazada.
I can order one from the specifications I have, but I don't know if the device will last, or overheat like the last one.
I was looking for someone who had bought one on Lazada and whether it was OK and still works.
Anyway enough, thanks for your response.

If you buy a quality brand, i.e. ASUS, then it will work and it won't overheat - any model from a good brand.

Looks good.

Yes, please write an update. It's always good to know how stories continue.

I have bought / owned  D-Link, Belkin, Billion, Netgear, Linksys, Zyxell, Asus TPlink and ASUS,  I would rate them in the following order, best to worst.

Linksys

Belkin

Netgear

Zyxell

ASUS

TPlink

Billion.

D-Link.

By far the worst piece of junk I ever had the misfortune to buy was the D-link, it stands out on its own compared to all of the others. For reliability and build quality I would probably go with Netgear or higher priced TP link. For middle of the road plodding I would pick Belkin and Linksys, for budget no frills basic value I would go for the cheaper TPlink and Billion, and for bells and whistles and lots of clutter and overkill, go for ASUS.

I used to hate Lazada a few years ago, their service was terrible and it was like a lucky dip as to what you got after ordering. I can safely say that in the recent few years they have sorted their act out and are actually pretty damn good even comparing them with the likes of Amazon. I have only ever had one faulty item from them ( a 17,000 Baht Samsung TV) and it was sorted in 2 days and refund and return of the product was flawless.

Lazada are great for up country. Pay when you get the item and only a day or 2 courier delivered.

Where as I've ordered a few things of Wish and it takes about 3 weeks.

I use an Asus RTN10+ (3 in 1) modem/router/access to extend mine was about 700bht a few years back.

Just tell it to be a repeater.
