So?

Not everyone here exchanges Pounds.

But Euro or Rubles?

Both quite miserable.

Neither have fallen off a cliff of late. Certainly nothing notable.

So about what is the discussion? A strong baht?

No one knows....

I follow the US exchange rate; it has gone down 2% this past week. Last week it cost about 908 dollars to take out 30220 baht at the ATM.  Now it would cost about 20 extra dollars to take out the 30220 baht.  All math done in near enough mode.

So following the general tone of this thread....not everyone uses US dollars so who cares

You use the wrong currency ? I'm still happy with (nearly) 5% in the last 3 months .. or plus 20% over the last 20 years ..

The £ has and is still falling against nearly all other currencies The % loss over the last 2 years is pretty much the same against the Thai baht or the euro, about 20% and it's due to brexit uncertainty. I have UK based pensions and have to change in to either baht or euros. It's becoming painful on a daily living basis.

Perhaps your menu is "broken" KneeDeep?

Any Brits might be interested to know that over the last 24 hours the £ has had its highest rise against the Bt for about a month.

Further words superfluous

You say that further words are superfluous but I am having trouble following your point.

1. Are you complaining at the value of the £?

2. Are you complaining about the rates offered by TT Exchange?

3. Are you complaining about both?

4. Are you saying that TT Exchange are very good?

I am not clear. Could you make your point a bit more clearly. Thanks.

I have no idea as to what menu you refer.

This is what I see;

Further words would be very helpful actually. However if you're referring to the GBP rate, this is indeed the lowest it's fallen since the mid 90s.

Indeed, a rate of 41.87 nows looks marvelous. On friday GBP hit a new low on Xe.com of 41.83, you would be lucky to get 41 baht from a bank at that rate.

Well, let us hope and pray it was a 'one off' .  555

My ATM card has the same sentiments.

I brought a bunch of green back last trip. The Panasonic Lumix GX9 goes for 33K with lens. Yes too expensive but TiT .... and 1k USD would have been 33K last week. I'm still kicking myself. Things like this end up pissing me OFF, more than they should,

Same with the Norwegian KR.  Terrible exchange rates these days .

We're an oil producing country but the dollar does not care. :crying:
