Wife's smart phone obsession leads to her murder

Trouble started in the home of an Ang Thong man when he bought his wife a smartphone last month.

According to the husband of Usa Masiri, 34, she stopped looking after their four children and would not help with any work.

All she did was stare at the screen all day long, said Tossaporn Khongmuang.

And to make matters worse she was smiling and chatting leading him to believe she had a new love interest.

Finally on Monday after a month of bitter arguments he could take the now sex-less relationship no more.

He went into the bedroom armed with a gun and shot his wife in the back.

Tossaporn, who cuts up pigs for a living, waited for Pol Capt Meesak Srithong of Sri Bua Thong police to arrive and take him into custody.

The gun was found a meter from the lifeless body of the fully clothed woman. She was face down on the bedroom floor with a single bullet wound in the center of her back.

Tossaporn, a native of Wang Nam Yen where the crime occurred, blamed the smartphone and his wife's change in behavior for ruining their relationship.

He told the police that she had also started denying him sex, reported Thai Rath. He was furious and jealous.

No mention was made of the children in the report.

insinuating that he really believes he was totally justified and did absolutely nothing wrong

Smartphone and Somchai.......a match made in heaven, not.

Would have been easier to just grab the phone back and sell it.

The fragile ego shows it´s ugly face again, and they all belive they have a valid excuse and was entitled to kill.

Third-world insecurities + first-world technology = Lakhon-like tragedy

He should have probably turned the TV set off first.

not caring for 4 children was part of his logic therefore he insured she will never care for them in the future.

He did what people do in general. Blaming someone or something else for their own problems. When the brain is dead human becomes animal. Kill kill.. Why so many killings in Los?

Because a lot didn't evolve past the Agricultural revolution unfortunately thanks to the attitude towards serfs.

Let,s face it, Einstein and Stephen Hawkins were on to it, the smart phone is well on the way to destroying society ?

Animals kill to survive and for food....NOT for smartphones!

Wow, Einstein knew about smart phones which were first introduced in 1999 (44 years after his death).

And who is Stephen Hawkins?

Tossa porn, a native of Wang Nam Yen...................... cretin!

With an IQ of around the 75 points he choose the best option to fix her smart phone addiction.

He should have shot the smartphone, which it turns out was smarter than him.

RIP the wife

That wouldn't get him laid. He needed another option. A new wife!

Yes really, can you provide a link that shows who this person is or are you thinking of Stephen Hawking?

I'm presuming that you do realize that Hawkins and Hawking are different surnames.

You are correct, I was thinking of the late Professor Stephen Hawking, however given certain factors ie the in-ability of some people in here to spell correctly, the close proximity of the letters G and S on the querty keyboard and the instances of preemtive text taking over, offen un-noticed until after posting ones comments, I simply exclaimed “Really” without further enlargement, thereby extending the ability to the poster in this case your good self to clarify the comment made.

No offence was intended and one hopes non was taken
