Schools in Pattaya around 20k thb a semester?

Featured Replies

Hello.

Can anybody please give me the names of schools in or around Pattaya area that cost around 20,000thb per semester?

Prathom 1 level.

The child is fully bilingual, 1 lesson a day with a native speaker would be a bonus but not essential.

TIA.

Well, for 20K, you will have to stay with government schools, 2y ago I have been looking for dual language program schools, but all cost from 60K upward, English programs from 100K upwards.

Sent from my CPH1821 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Cant remember how much it was ,but a good school is Assumption in Sri Racha ,our son is bi lingual and had a good education there ,a bus picks the kids up every morning .

My son is currently at Aksorn School in Naklua. 19,000 THB/month. Although, on the surface, seems like a good school, we have found teaching standards abysmal.

Next month he starts at a new school, Satit Udomseuksa, off Sukhumvit Pattaya 89. Full Thai/ international program and a good percentage of Western teachers. 27k baht/month. It was recommended to us by our neighbours who have 2 Thai/US children at the school.

If you want full address, tel etc. PM me.

OP, a couple of possibles for you to look up:

1) Sawang Boriboon School on Soi NernPlubWan

They have an EP programme.

2) Pattaya Arunotai School, 430/1-2, Moo 9, Pattayaklang Road (Tel 038-373334)

I have family members attending both schools and the parents seem quite happy with the teaching.

Both should be quite close to your stated budget.

19000/ month ?!

How much a year ?!

Thanks.

My son is at Phoenix bi-lingual, app 150k baht per year, native English speakers in the class, Cambridge approved.

We moved him out of Maryvitt because the teachers were hitting him when not performing to their standards, very military approach, like in the 1950's in EU.

Completely unacceptable to me, I got very very angry when I found out about it.

Most important; He is now happy when he go to school in the morning.

Our son went to Assumption in Sri Racha ,he did the international courses ,had a very good education there ,mind you his English is first class as he spent many of his younger years in the UK ,where we lived .

PS a lot of very rich Pattaya Thai people sent their kids there and our son was friends with them ,as he has grown into a man ,it certainly has not held him back work wise as they are still his circle of friends ,lol

pps

I see this is an old thread and i replied to it before ,Yes Assumption is good , ????
