Just a quick question.

I have just subscribed to IPVanish and find that I am unable to connect to BBC London........'This content is not available in your region'

I have been waiting for a response from support for over 2 hrs now.

Does anybody know if the BBC is blocked?

Some VPN services like IPVanish are blocked by the BBC. So its the BBC blocking IPVanish not the other way around.

VPN's are just a workaround to get around location blocks but don't always work.

Thanks for your quick response robbok.

They (IPVanish) give a 7 day refund, so therefore a refund is in order.

Cheers

This morning, I just subscribed for for one month ($10) to test their service and they have just changed their website one month package to $7.50,  I has requested a refund.

For those that don't intend to watch BBCiplayer, their internet download/upload speeds are excellent.  Of all the VPN's I've tested thru SGP,  IPVanish will take a lot of beating.

@aidenai is right. You should always contact the support before buying. I did the same with PureVPN and asked specifically if my favorite channels work with their service or not, thankfully they were. It will save a lot of your time and money.

Yeah true, always ask to the support or read reviews on the review websites like PureVPN review on USAVPN. I suggest you to first have a trial on vpn before buying. Some offer paid trail like PureVPN at https://www.purevpn.com/trial.php or some offer free. Buy VPN at https://www.purevpn.com/order or check out other vpn service providers order pages for info about there rates.
