Fire damages Pattaya body shop

Damage was estimated at about a million baht after fire broke out at a Pattaya body shop.

No one was injured in the Oct. 12 blaze at N.L. Auto Service on Sukhumvit Soi 44. Firefighters took about 30 minutes to extinguish the flames, which broke out in an upstairs dryer room.

Jongrak Noibuakaew, 63, said she was taking care of her nephew at the family-run garage when she heard people shouting “fire”. Staffers quickly pulled cars to safety and anything valuable they could grab while still escaping safely.
