Please correct me if I'm wrong "Of course you will" . . . . "Honda BigWing Chiangmai" is the only Honda dealership in Chiangmai Province that I can buy a new Honda "Big Bike" from ?

Another question while I have your attention; has anyone used a third party to supply and fit bike engine / crash protection / extra LED light mounting bars and engine skid plates Etc.

I have NO intentions of doing a "Rally Raid" conversion on a new bike, I'd buy a Honda Africa Twin if that's what I wanted.

Thank you in advance for your replies. . . . .

May be better if you asked this in the motorcycle forum.

Let me know if you want it moved.????

Thank you for your idea but I used the "Chiangmai Forum" due to my location. . . .

If you're buying a new bike, I believe BigWing is the only dealership from which you'll receive a Honda factory warranty- there may be some places selling 'grey-market' bikes (i.e. Honda models that aren't sold at BigWing- obviously not the Africa Twin) but they won't have a Honda warranty.

Take it to the motorcycle forum.  Should be plenty of locals and big bike enthusiasts as well.   In addition, they can tell you about accessories, as they are enthusiasts and bikers.

On the Goldwing I owned back in the states, two additions I had added to me were worth their weight in gold. One was an intermittent headlight that caused your headlight to flash on and off but only during daylight hours. and the other thing was an air horn that sounded like an 18 wheeler truck when you blasted on it.

Just what we all want to hear at 3AM in the City.  And again at 3.10AM as the even noisier ambulance (sic) arrives to pick up the remains of the <deleted> who was "sounding off" just once too often!
