It is with great sadness that I have to mention the loss of a few local businesses. A local bra manufacturer has gone bust, a submarine company has gone under, a manufacturer of food blenders has gone into liquidation, a dog kennel has had to call in the retrievers and a company supplying paper for origami enthusiasts has folded. Do you know of any others?

The Y Front manufacturer has hit the skids and our local bakery has just crumbled.

Glue factory went insolvent.

Universities are cutting back on funding.

The archeology department is in ruins.

The local quarry has hit rock bottom !!

Local sports equipment manufacturer has taken its bat and ball home ????

Even international companies are in trouble.

Dyno-rod has gone down the drain.

The local florist was just about to open but had to be nipped in the bud because of the virus.

And the betting offices have gone to the dogs. 

Crikey, the local balloon factory has gone bust now.

This new gasoline they have come up is pretty damn good !!

 

I’m getting 3 weeks to the litre now !!

The factory in the town that supplies live ammunition to the armed forces has had to close, and all the workers were fired.

The potato farm has just sacked all its workers.
