Japanese Banking Crisis - latest:

"As the Japanese banking crisis intensifies, Sumo Bank has gone belly-up and Origami Bank has folded, while Judo Bank is in danger of toppling.

Things are better at Bonsai Bank, which appears to be in trim shape, though it has shown very little growth.

Elsewhere, Samurai Bank has slashed its staff, leading to employees of Karate Bank fearing that they will also get the chop, and we can expect ruthless measures at Yakuza Bank.

Noh Bank appears stuck in the past. Customers of Sushi Bank, meanwhile, are claiming that they have received a raw deal, while Tsunami Bank is being engulfed by a flood of complaints.

There has been little communication from senior management: Geisha Bank’s directors remain inscrutable, the Board at Kawaii Bank is also playing it cute and the bosses at Zen Bank seem to be lost in thought.

Now we hear of Kendo Bank suffering a series of blows, while events at Wasabi Bank leave a sour taste in the mouth and Miso Bank is said to be ‘in the soup’.

The latest word about Teriyaki Bank is that their CFO is under suspicion of cooking the books.

There is some positive news: Emoji Bank is putting on a brave face, but there is a danger that Typhoon Bank may soon be blown away and Sake Bank’s prospects are lukewarm at best.

Shareholders of Koi Bank have plenty to carp about and their counterparts at Futon Bank say that they refuse to take things lying down.

What the true picture is at Anime Bank is anybody’s guess, but at least Manga Bank has a good story to tell"
