Tres bien monsieur! French tourist hands in cash to the police

 

 

Chiang Mai News reported that a French tourist walked into the police station in Muang district of Chiang Mai yesterday with 8,600 baht he had found in the street. 

 

Named as Mr Carayow, aged about 40 to 50, he had found the money on Phrapokklao Road outside Wat Chedi Luang. 

 

The media praised the tourist for his public spirit and honesty. 

 

Maj-Gen Wakorn Untan took delivery of the notes and promised to find the real owner. 

 

Chiang Mai News did not explain or conjecture as to why the money included ten ten baht notes - cash that is no longer in general circulation.

that's it there will be a Thai Taxi driver finding more and handing it in

Would he have turned in the money,  if he had found 860'000 THB instead ? ????????

So now they use tourists to show these stories when its that time of the month … did cabbies ask for too much to contribute maybe ?

This french man needs to be shot like the one being shot recently. Why? Because he just gave good money to police . What do you think the police do with the money? Find the owner you say? Oh, come on.
