Just a perfect example of the self centered nature of Thais.  "Must talk, must chat, must use phone."  Doing the job hired to do is tertiary in importance at best

I can't believe that a bus driver can be so irresponsible.

I guess if anything had happened, the driver would have blamed it on brake failure.
