I wonder what tipped them off as he did get through airport, would not surprise me if someone dobbed him in

Don't underestimate the Immigration database.  He probably returned to the same residence he used in the past. That got correlated with the name similarity.  "Hey, look at this..."

'Western European' immigration should come to a learning trip to Thailand. Thai immigration could show how to throw out useless 'I love your country' -people.

The UK put 26,215 illegal immigrants into detention last year, how many has Operation X-ray foreigner caught so far?

If you don't think Thailand a decent place because of the Thai people, perhaps you are in the wrong place, did you consider that?

27,429 left the detention centers, 12,321 deported for being illegal immigrants, 5,825 deported for criminal activity, 6,212 granted asylum, and the remaining 3000 odd agreed to leave the UK voluntarily.

So could Egyptian immigration. They might catch a few of the many Thais that are living and working in their country illegally.

It's getting more complicated now , I suggest a surgery or grow a beard , wear glasses, get a fake passport with a new birth date.

Then off you go

None. They were all given a council house!
