Phon Phi Sai

I have a friend in a village outside Phon Phi Sai having an on ongoing problem starting problem with a 5 year old Honda click 125. It's in bits again and after multiple batteries a carburettor nozzle and a recent starter button its been diagnosed as firstly a starter motor then now it's changed to a complete carburettor in recent days. I think this local mechanic is chasing his tail. In the west they can get away with changing parts that the computer says are faulty but these Issanians haven't got the cash for it. It's becoming a joke. Can anybody recommend a shop locally or as far as Nongkhai or Udonthani that can locate the problem without replacing every part in turn ????
