E Visa Laos

Anyone have up to date info' on the E visa for Laos.

Last I heard was it would be available early 2019.

Why bother with an evisa just get visa on arrival. It's only $36USD at the gate

Why wait in a queue filling in a form like in Cambodia at the airport when you can go straight to the Imm desk?

As far as I'm aware they're still saying early 2019, at least the various travel blogs are saying so.

 

There's certainly no mention of it on their website, http://www.immigration.gov.la/visas.html

I think my longest wait was like 15 minutes. I do my 'run' across the bridge n back in under an hour andthats mostly waiting on the bus to cross the river. But I'm never in a rush and enjoy the experience

Yep, best I could find was 'should be' available before June.

Should also save the full page sticker like Cambo. 3 day visit and two pages gone in the passport.
