Did We Really Land on the Moon?
Almost all of Ickes predictions were wrong- NZ despairing under the waves, UK massive floods and earthquakes, moon a hollow alien base, not forgetting covid 19 a hoax with the symptoms caused by g5 signals, even when there were none! Best of all the end of the world in 1997. Anybody who believes in his nonsense is a fool. I see he's walked back on the lizard people, not enough money in that one -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
Well said. I'm yet to see a single report of any foreigner, paying any tax, on any foreign remitted income. IMO, it's simply not happening, and the vast majority of 'expat' tax residents will not even file a return, if I had to guess, 90% +. The first case that's published of anyone paying tax on their funds transferred to buy a house or condo, will be very newsworthy. There must have been thousands of foreigners who did exactly this, using 'technically assessable' income, sometime in 2024. How come we haven't heard of a single case on here? Did no one buy a home / condo / even a car last year? Where's the reports of someone trying to declare the gain on the sale of property ( or other investments) sold overseas, remitted to buy property in Thailand? -

What USA city for Medicare?
If I wait 5 years I will also have saved $10,000 dollars in the five years. However, I might live to 100 making those savings negligible compared to the increased rate. 🙂 Google tells me I don't have to wait for the open enrollment period to add Part B if I return to the USA after living abroad. There is a 2 month special enrollment period but I don't know if that is true. You can enroll in Medicare Part B while living overseas if you are 65 or older and qualify for Medicare. You can enroll at a U.S. embassy or consulate in your country. When can you enroll? During your Initial Enrollment Period (IEP): You can enroll during your IEP, which is a specific period of time. During the General Enrollment Period (GEP): You can enroll during the GEP, which runs from January 1 through March 31 each year. During your Special Enrollment Period (SEP): You can enroll during your SEP, which begins when you return to the U.S. and lasts for up to two months. -

As Holocaust Memorial Day January 27 2025
I'm not sure I understand your point. Do you believe that Hamas and Hezbollah pose a genocidal threat to Israel via Iranian support?
