Structures on a beach in Cherng Talay (map below) have been demolished where a hotel was preparing for a large wedding party over the weekend.

Ma-ann Samran, Cheif of the Cherng Talay Tambon Administration Organisation (OrBorTor) was notified from locals that wedding party was been prepared on Pan Thri Beach, between Surin Beach and Bang Tao beaches.

Officials visited the beach to find a big stage and others items being assembled for the large wedding.

The nerve of some of these big resorts.

Building a structure on the beach and not paying off the big guy first!

Clearly someone forgot to slip Ma-Ann the usual envelope!!

The only good thing about the upcoming elections is that Orbator Chiefs are only allowed to have two terms in power (not sure if this is retroactive or from the date of the election) so this slimeball will eventually slither away.

Is this his second term or his first term? How long is a term?

Feels like 20 years per term in his case.

Agreed. He seems to have been around forever, and the majority of the blackspots and illegal occupation in that area is down to his corrupt mismanagement.
