Astounding news from Germany where Joacihm Loew has told 3 of his senior players that they will not be picked again. Boateng, Hummels and Muller have all got the chop, all play for Bayern Munich. Is that relevant? Who knows.

When a team has a very bad time the manager is almost always the fall guy. Not here and he has full backIng from the German FA.

Boateng and Hummels have 70 caps each, Muller 100. None are over 30.
