Image result for coach screws

Looking for some of these coach screws between 80 mm to 100 mm length, 8 mm width. In Chiang Mai, south side of the city would be great! I have checked out the usual; Home Pro, Baan and Beyond, Con Wood and a few ma and pa hardware shops... all of which don't seem to stock them.

We're not near you (BKK), but our local Mystery Shop (hardware store) has them, hidden out-back where only the old lady knows where they are (I'm sure I saw a T-Rex out there although it could have been their poodle). They also sell them by weight!

I suspect more wandering and asking (don't forget your photo) is going to be the way.

You could get one of the bike taxi chaps to do the legwork for you, payment on results of course ????

That is a good idea.

By now I also know a few shops in Bangkok with parts I wanted. Often somewhere with a small dirty undescriptive front and of course nothing in the internet.

But the locals know where these shops are.

For above screws I would ask a local who works with wood and maybe builds houses, etc.

If you are south then Global.

Many different lengths often in sealed bags of 6,8,10.

But the hardware shop to trump all others, just over Narrawat bridge 400m on left. I forget the Thai name

Same place before the traffic light at the Sanpakoy market or has it moved farther East?

PKF. the Chinese shop located on Charoen Muang Rd. east side of river.

Cross the bridge over Ping, go down hill through immediate then second set of traffic lights, then about 250 meters to where a giant inflatable 'Man' directs you into left hand side of road.

Decent size car park.

Will sell one item or large order with a polite smile.
