I seem to be travelling near Loei a lot lately and always when I'm hungry. Can any members recommend some falang eating places and maybe bars with a pool table in Loei? Thanks in advance.

Thanks but not quite what I was looking for. I already tried tripadvisor and thought those places were a bit upmarket. Not many for example doing an English style breakfast.

I've never eaten there, but in the main town of Loei, there's Saloon Loei. They have western food and a pool table.  The owner is German.  He also runs Loei Adventure Touring.

Lots of expats stop by there and it looks like they have a lot of fun.  Many get together for motorcycle rides all over the region.

Another nearby place to check out would be Phuloei Coffee.  https://www.facebook.com/CoffeePhuloei/

"Loei's American Burger" seems to have vanished.  But there is Loei Kebab Plus.  https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Restaurant/Loei-Kebab-Plus-1944909519128274/  Thai Loei Market, Tambon Kut Pong, Amphoe Mueang Loei, Chang Wat Loei 42000, Thailand

I think I see a farang hard at work in there.

Baan Yai is gone but like Damrongsak said, Loei Saloon is your best bet.

They have a free pool table and Western food which is pretty damn good.  I go there to eat occasionally.

Check out their menu on their facebook page or on google maps. They do serve breakfast but they don’t open until 11:00 am.

The kebab place is in a little market right off Ruam Chai Rd., same road as the coffee shop.  Ruam Chai is the road from the market by the river to the main road past town.

There's a veggie Thai restaurant nearby.
