Hey, perhaps @save the frogs has hit the proverbial nail on the head.  We're the Cult Of Misfits.  We take everyone's bizarre ideas, put them all in a boiling cauldron and stir, and then we each drink until we're all hallucinating!  And then we argue endlessly about which of all of the different fantastical visions represent true reality.

I used to be a comedian in my last future life.  I just found out it's called bleed through.  And all this time I thought I was experiencing Karma in reverse.

I disagree, the truth is right in front of us, but we do not see the trees because of the big Forrest. We are one where miracles happens non stop right here right now

Well, apparently the true reality is that a true reality doesn't exist  ????

Until the lights go out.  All the miracles suddenly disappear as you sit in the dark.

Too many "true" realities to choose from.  Understandably, it does get confusing.

When it is over it is over! There is alot of comfort being comfortable believing in the simple things ????

The truth is simple.  But again, the devil is always in the details.  Then it begins to get complex.  Most quit when their brains start to hurt.

I was referring to the electric lights.  Getting them turned back on if all you've ever known is to flip a switch would be a problem for those who want everything to be simple, like just flipping the switch.

The devil literally or imaginary?

Nature is unpredictable, but at same time predictable.

Oh, so, but there is alot light in the dark, just close your eyes ????

However complete darkness doesnt exist in nature, unless you are completely locked down in a place lights never reaches.

It's a figure of speech.

What I'm referring to is this:  Some people suffer from severe depression.  There are those who don't know enough to help themselves and there are those who know enough to help themselves.  I come from the latter camp.  Moral of the story?  There's a great deal of value in complexity.

I just stumbled upon this video. One of the funniest and scariest things I've seen in a while.

Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is an amateur compared to this guy.

Phony as a three dollar bill.  But it pays well.

Anything will help if you do something, and using your brain and body is a good communication to overcome depression, but the nature of depression is being stuck until it fades away by it self, and you manage to get going again. Thats when you have to do something about it, before it strikes again. Most or many people experience severe depression at least one time in life, and for some depression can be life changing, meaning finding new truths and new values.

". . . but the nature of depression is being stuck until it fades away by it self . . ."

Sorry to say, Hummin, but that is total BS.  I've told you before that the cause of depression is singular and the way out is quite easy once one understands what the cause is.  I won't repeat myself to you again because you just don't listen well.

Viva la resistance!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you truly are evil but you don't think you are?  The mind can play terrible jokes on people.  Go ask Hummin.

Sometimes I wonder if I was a really bad person in a previous life, which would mean I'd have to believe in Karma, and I don't, at least I'm not convinced that it exists.

I'm not sure if I agree with that, but I know the pills the Dr gave me for it didn't do much more than make me impotent.

I think my depression lifted when I stopped working in a toxic environment.

I think you're addicted now and need your daily fix of metaphysical debate.

Sometimes I think that it's too much for people to wrap their heads around the idea that they create their own realities, e.g. experiences.  So they look for answers outside of themselves.  Where they don't exist.  And, therefore . . . never find them.

No matter the truth, if one's life sucks very very suckily no miracles are going to fix it, short of God whispering the winning numbers of Lotto in one's ear.
