Inspectors suspect foul play from Patong resorts

PHUKET:-- Patong Deputy Mayor Boonma Aeapsap on Wednesday (Apr 17) told The Phuket News that inspections are still ongoing in the search for the source of the wastewater flowing onto Merlin Beach in Patong.
 

The investigation was initiated after a complaint was made by a woman who posted a video on Facebook showing black water flowing onto the beach and into the sea.

 

Banyad Horpetch, an officer from the Patong Municipality Sanitation Division, first went to inspect the area on April 10 but was unable to locate the source.

For $50, you can buy 3 different colored dyes and flush one color down a toilet of each of the 3 hotels. 

 

But I suspect the water will still come out brown, because that's what you get when you mix 3 different colored dyes together.

So flush each color on different days so there's no mixing.
