Hi everyone,

Just about to move into a Bangkok condo and have no idea which service provider or package to choose for TV/Internet

Any recommendations are welcome. 'Don't watch a lot of TV or video on Internet but don't mind paying a bit extra for a good value package.

Thanks a lot for any and all ueful advice. Cheers!

Just got my 3BB fibre upgraded to 200/200 for Bht 749 incl. It's fast.

First ask at the condo front desk as your choice will be restricted by what is available in the building. This applies particularly to any fibre/cable offers. VDSL will be more flexible.

You can go to condo office or lobby to look for special ongoing promotions and contact the agents for respective providers. They do have special promotions like 50% off for 12 months contract. If you go to website or contact providers directly, you might not get any promo other than stated in their websites.

What year?

It's the down / up speed of the internet transmissions... and you'll want to make sure that this speed isn't 'shared' by everyone else in your apartment block... or, if it is shared, that the router has been set up to limit the maximum down/up speeds for each apartment.

Get Fiber high speed, I've got TOT, 130 down, 50 upload and I'm more than happy. 3BB offers a package deal, you'll need a special router to get that, plus the wiring.

Ask the condo management which ISP's they allow some  (/ a lot ? ) will only allow  one provider...as they have a special agreement with that ISP  and you can only use that specified company...if that's the case then  you either use the ISP the  force you to...or  use a mobile  phone 4G signal instead.

even the bluddy ISPs are into everyone's backpockets...!
