Fishing

Featured Replies

I picked up a little telescoping pack rod and spinning reel loaded with 10lb mono.   I thought it might be fun to cast along some of the canals and waterways in the hopes of catching a snakehead or two.

Does anybody know if i need to have a fishing license or anything?   Or can I just go to it and give it a go?

As far as i know no license needed you can just try it.

No fishing in National Parks....

I was actually thinking about this yesterday while we were sitting along side a nice clean wide river.....

No license, go for it, minding the note ^ about national parks.

In the canals, Thai guys often tossing top water lures for Snakehead (Pla Chon).

This is a spinning reel....The closed face with the release button in the back is usually what you use to teach kids how to fish....
