CCTV footage from an intersection in Nay Muang sub-district of Chaiyaphum showed a Mitsubishi pick-up emerge from a side road and collide with a Toyota Corolla.

The driver of the pick-up, Moon Inbamrung, 51, told the police that he had gone through a green light and was hit by the other driver who had gone through on red.

The CCTV confirmed that.

Corolla driver Samruam Pansomjai, 55, from Yasothon tested negative for alcohol.

The police made him pay compensation to the pick-up driver and fined him for going through a red light.

Moon said it was lucky no one was hurt on this occasion.

Yesterday I saw a BMW circle in front of others cars at a stop light that was red for 30 second and had another 30 seconds before it turned green.   He waited until he had an opportunity and drove through the red light as if he did nothing wrong.  They just don't care who they kill if they are in a rush.

Well it was a BMW, the same applies for all expensive imported vehicles.

It's amazing how these people can waste time on everything else other than on the road.

Corolla owner's amulet must've been fake or cheaper than the pickup driver's.

And negative for any brain cells.

Saving 30 seconds at the traffic light today, and tomorrow they have to wait 45 minutes for the insurance guy to show up, 1 hour for the report to be completed, and 3 weeks before his car is back from the shop.

Short term thinking only...
