Confused about visa location centre in BKK, Help please.

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I am slight confused about visa location centre in Bangkok.

I tried to book a time slot on behalf of my wife at Siam paragon, but they were charging 3000THB for a time slot.

I then tried different application centre and picked Siam Paragon - Platinium and Siam Piwat Staffs. The time slots available are free for same dates.

Obviously I want to pick the free application centre.

I am confused, If I pick Siam Platinium will there be a problem? Siam Platinium are they for other special applicants?

If anyone can help me I will really appreciate it.

Many thanks.

The Visa Application Centre at Siam Paragon attracts an extra fee,

M Scarlet and VIZ Card holder- THB 3,093

M Platinum card holder and Siam Piwat employees- THB 3,270

Regular- THB 3,800

You can pay this fee before attending the visa application centre when booking your appointment.

Clearly a facility VFS have set up to further increase their revenue stream, whilst to the casual observer this may seem wrong and should be unaceptable to the UKVI, I'm led to believe that they've pretty much been given carte blanche to charge what they can get away with by the UKVI.

There should be free slots available at Trendy, but the availability seems to be declining, for the reasons given earlier, I think you'll need to keep trying.
