Hello guys,

I'm not sure if I'm posting it in the right place. The first day I moved to a mansion and rented a room for a month, I had to pull my bed to a closer place to the electric socket. I was stupid enough not to notice that the bed was directly touching the wall. After pulling the bed, I've noticed it made some scratches on the wall that should probably be repainted.

I'm noticing there have been repaints on the same area before. Could anyone knowing this or having experienced a similar situation tell me an approximate cost and the expected process? I. e., will they only repaint the affected area or will they demand me to pay for the repaint of the whole wall?

I haven't experienced anything similar, just don't want to be taken advantage of. I'm also posting the pictures of the damage. Any help would be really appreciated.

Best will be not to say anything grab some paint and a brush and repaint the affected area yourself to the best of your abilities and push the bed back to where it was and nobody's the wiser...

Take a flake of the paint to a paint shop and have it matched, then repair it yourself.

They need the pant flake to match the paint, rely on your eye and memory, you will get it wrong

Thanks for the advice, guys.

I basically just told them what happened, they said it wasn't a big deal, they have their own paint, so they'll just repaint that part just as they did for some previous scratches. I was just exaggerating by being overly stressed about it, they said it was completely fine and I have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for your replies again. Feel free to close the thread if needed.
