Thai immigration catch "finger cutting" gang of international extortionists

Four members of an international gang of extortionists have been arrested at a hotel in Pratunam, Bangkok.

 

The men are believed to be two Cambodians and two Indonesians and were involved with others already in custody in the abduction and ransom of an Indonesian national in Cambodia. 

 

The victim's finger was cut off and relatives in Indonesia were sent a video demanding 300,000 baht.

 

Thai immigration followed the trail of the men from Sa Kaew to Bangkok as they tried to give officers the slip by changing hired van twice. 

 

Biometrics was also mentioned in the Naew Na report as having played a part in the arrest.

Perhaps the international extortionist were really just an over-enthusiastic group of manicurists.

 

I see they've got another poster on display for the hard-of-learning.

On the poster, is the blue silhouetted man Prawit on an urgent visit to the bog?

 

Maybe they were fingered with biometrics ????

Perhaps they were bleeding too (on the trail) and that is how they got fingered.

The real crime though is the lack of an appropriate TM30 for the gang members and the finger
