I need to send a very small parcel to Taiwan. Manufacturer has asked me to return their product. What's the best\cheapest way to do it? just go to a post office? is there a specific "class" of post i should ask for?

Just go to P.O. (you will need ID with you),send it either registered,

or if it valuable EMS, which you can track on P.O. website.

Ask the supplier what they want.

I had a similar situation and the supplier told me to send the part back the cheapest way I would without registration or insurance.

They also asked me to make a picture of the parcel and send it to them.

I did that and all was fine.

I guess sometimes you have to register it (you need your passport for that). It depends on the supplier. Ask them!

Registering a parcel is pretty cheap in LOS. I sent all my stuff over 40 kg ( my checked luggage allowance on the plane was 40 kg )home by mail. It all arrived.

I did register anything valuable.

They certainly do charge extra if over a certain weight for compulsory tracking. I saved a lot by splitting things into smaller sizes and not having tracking.

I guess that is the relative cost. If you send 40Kg that always costs considerably money, even without registration.

I once had to send something tiny, maybe 20g. It would have been cheap - except the registration was expensive (I think several hundred baht)
