Registering a car with the DLT

I've just paid off my car loan and the local company have sent me the blue book, I understand I need to register the car at the DLT office, has anyone done this? If so what documents are needed? And is there a cost?

Is the book already in your name rather than the finance company?

 

If it is then I don't think any action is required.

Many thanks, it was in the finance companies name, I had it transferred over this morning. Took 15 to 20 minutes, the documents required were: the blue book for the car, evidence the car was free of finance which was supplied by the finance company, my yellow house book, passport bio and visa extension copies.
