Staggering the pettiness of and the ends the fascist Left "democrats, their Fascist Media and Deep State and all of the other Trump haters and Trump Deranged will go to looking for ways to treasonously subvert, to bring coup against and/or to defame America's Best and most efficacious-ever President. And how easily he flicks them all away and gets on with the job.

Most if not all of the mainstream famous left-democrats along with republican conservatives are fascist. When will folks see through the bi-partisan veils.

I should add that the reality tv show star and NYC rich guy has a history of lies not to mention controversial comments. But what he does do, is gain votes from those who love his divisive and often xenophobic rhetoric. I really don't see how one can support a president of such character. Regardless, if you are on the right or left.

Sounds like most of the news outlets stemming from the United States of America.

Adding the word "impassively" is not factual.  It is the insertion of an opinion into an adverb.

Sorry if it's confusing.....

Do you know what impassively means?

Wow, a Trump supporter who knows the word efficacious. How many of you are out there?

Which is why the House of Representatives flipped firmly into Democrats' hands. Nice flicking!

"The first lady has gotten to know Kim Jong Un and I think she'd agree with me, he is a man with a country that has tremendous potential," Trump said, as Melania watched impassively from the audience.

The only "impressions" they have about Kim Jong Un came from the Translator, as neither speak Korean.

So if Melania read the translated transcripts from their conversations, then she knows as much about Kim Jong Un as her husband

Did she read them? Trump does have prior for not allowing or destroying transcripts.

Does she even have the security clearance that would be required to have access to such transcripts?

Sure! And many other Americans like her such as Rep. Ilhan Omar. Many more. There is a term called "melting pot" in regards to the USA.

Amazing the deluded thinking of some supporters, who appear to be incapable of critical thinking, and feel that blatant mistruths are acceptable, I am afraid that Left and Fascist seem diametrically opposed to each other.

Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian ultranationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce, (does this read like anyone in WH)??

Left-wing politics supports social equality and egalitarianism, often in opposition to social hierarchy. It typically involves a concern for those in society whom its adherents perceive as disadvantaged relative to others as well as a belief that there are unjustified inequalities that need to be reduced or abolished

Very correct analysis ...but you will not be able to convince some idiots and fanatics reading this.

Kim has sent Trump several incredibly beautiful letters composed in English that Melania has surely also read.

I don't know what he meant. That's my point. A lot of posters on here seem to believe they do, though. You should probably ask them.

Well, the White House has explained what Trump meant. And Trump hasn't seen fit to contradict that explanation. And the explanation definitively contradicts Trump's claim. It just shows how low the bar is set for Trump, that some people can cling to the notion that what he said in this case is somehow true or at least not false but occupies some indeterminate zone according to some special rules of  construal that don't apply to others.

What is good for her, that she kept her mouth shut while het husband told again a clear lie?

Won't react to your other comment, only meant to distract from the topic at hand.

It wasnt a lie though , you can get to know people , without ever meeting them and Donald never did suggest that Melania had met with Kim

No, you can get to know about people but you can't get to know them. Not even the White House agrees with you:

“President Trump confides in his wife on many issues including the detailed elements of his strong relationship with Chairman Kim — and while the First Lady hasn’t met him, the President feels like she’s gotten to know him too,” stated Grisham, who previously worked in the administration as the first lady’s press secretary."

Since when does "feels like she knows him" = "she knows him"?

I do think that you can* "get to know" what people are like* , after you have spoken to a person that knows them well .

This seems like a situation where Donald may not have used the correct words and others are dissecting his words , looking for irregularities .

Donald needs to be more precise with his words and use the exact words , rather than words that could have two meanings

Nonsense.

Getting to know people is very clear, and she clearly doesn't know him. Neither does he imo.

I don't understand who is trying to impress by claiming this.  His fanbase will defend anything he says, right up to claiming the Earth is flat.  But what is his motivation here?  It must be the real estate development deal.
