A couple of years ago, or more I discovered a restaurant   possibly a chain selling dozens of different Laab salads, including duck as well as the usual moo and gai. Does anybody know it? On the south side of ploenchit  in newish mall? 5th Floor maybe?.A splendid place i wish to revisit...but cant find it

 

Not much directly on the south side of Ploenchit. Mahatun plaza but i dont believe that has 5 floors and is more town house. Park Ventures Office, but thats just a couple of floors of office food. More likely to be south of Chidlom area where you have Mercury Ville where the Taco Bell has opened. That probably has about 5 floors and lots of food places. You can walk directly into it from Chidlom BTS. It is opposite Central Chidlom.

Didn't Mr Smutcakes answer your question? I doubt you discovered anything. The restaurant wasn't hiding in fear from the farang. Perhaps you more correctly meant I found a nice restaurant that I never knew about before.

To answer your original question...No I don't.

Yes it will be Mercury Ville. Its not a new building but the retail part has been a relavently newer part of it as consruction was stopped after Lehman Brothers collapse as they owned it at the time.
