Honda CBX900-6 coming ?

As I understand it this is another one of those rumors coming out of the japanese magazine Young Machine. They have "scoops" all the time and rarely does anything materialize. I don't see a market for a 900cc six cylinder. It would be more expensive than a 1000cc four cylinder and not really give the rider any benefit. They only use a six cylinder in the Goldwing which is OK with the added weight and costs. And there it's not an inline six so this engine would have to be a completely new development. Oh and it's not really usable for a sport bike due to its weight and width so only for that hypothetical naked which means no shared development costs between models. I really don't see the point. Not gonna happen.

But probably the sound would be great!

The CBX was great but i don't think it was a commercial success. I doubt if Honda would make the same mistake again.
