IUU poll.

Will this vessel:

1.  Sink at it's mooring,

2. Catch fire and sink at it's mooring

3. Break it's mooring and drift into a nearby reef or island, or

4. Disappear in the night never to be seen again.

Fishing boat ..... ?? Looks like a small coastal freighter to me.

A future underwater reef within weeks might be a better description?

the boat turned on its AIS, allowing officers at the Phuket Port in-Port out Control Center (PIPO) to identify it as the “Uthaiwan”.
Or one could have read the name of the ship on the bow.

It probably has the same name on its stern as well.

Obviously a reefer or cargo ship which can hold frozen meats and fish.

One has to be close to read the name on the bow.

Excellent they got one. Sink it please.

The admiral will be handing in his ballooning shopping list of hardware to combat this dire threat ????

Do you know what a ship's AIS is and why they're meant to have them?

Perhaps at the time 'one' didn't have the visual contact 'one' needs to read the name.
