I am looking for a variable speed swimming pool pump at least 1.5 hp. Any recommends as to brands, costs and local dealers will be appreciated.

I am not qualified to give you technical advise, but I have used Poolmart on the Lake Road for the last 20 years.

Best aftersales service on the island in my experience. Everyone wants to sell you a pump but after the sale......

I have tried a few others (and so have my customers),  but was always found wanting.

Try TSP Pools in Maenam, almost by the post office, opposite side of the Ring Road. From my research they have the best pump prices on Samui (wholesale) – I've been quoted three times as high price from others for exactly same pumps, brand and model – and very kind service also.
