Wrong. Change of government and confirmatory vote, the outcome of which will be leave with a sensible deal that doesn't do too much damage to the economy or remain. Either way it'll be all over by Christmas and we can all settle down to the Queens speech and listen to how Johnson has given her a bloody Annus Horribilis.

The Queens speech should be very interesting, I doubt there will any direct reference to her displeasure of her (probably former) PM, but she will probably say she feels great sorrow for he divided nation and maybe a few coded remarks, but as for her more damming views will of coarse be let known though the usual channels in times to come.

The only way they will beat Boris is by having a coalition with the 'enemy' the Lib Dems who they swore, after the 'Pact', never to do. But hypocrites will be hypocrites. On their own Boris would crush Corbyn and 'what's her name'.

I think I know more about her than you if you think she is happy about the currant situation.

I'm pretty sure that the Queen's speech has been cancelled along with the proroguation. Would have to prorogue parliament again to book another Queen's speech. You'll have to make do with Her Christmas message.

Kind of overshadowed the bun fights at the Labour Conference, today parliament recalled at 11:30 and Corbyn making his closing speech in Brighton at 12:00, the A23 is going to be busy this afternoon...

But there again wonder what the the Tories are going to do, shorten their conference to a one day event (Sunday)?  wont feel sorry for them as they travel up and down the M6 and suffer what many motorists have to endure everyday due to late and under funding of the urgent repairs of the motorway network.

The Tories are planning to have a vote in parliament (possibly today) for a 4 day recess in order for them to have their conference. Good luck with that.

The bunfight was completely halted when the news of the Supreme Court judgment came through. The conference ended with total unity, even Watson congratulated Corbyn and vowed to support him.

Good speech from Corbyn with some excellent proposals. Re-nationaliseation of rail and water long overdue. The proposal for people suffering from the menopause to be entitled to flexible working made me chuckle though!

Yes, that's because we have a parliamentary democracy. The bill was passed in parliament and it was enacted. Equally, if parliament votes for a bill to withdraw Article 50, it will be withdrawn. That's parlamenary democracy for you.

Article 50 can only be withdrawn by a "Minister of the Crown" and Boris has said he will disobey any legislation passed by parliament if he wants,

You're losing the plot mate.

No, it was your post that I quoted :

These individuals are supporting the majority of UK citizens that voted to Leave. Not trying to over-ride the Democratic vote like the HOC, the Civil service and the House of Lords.

Multiple convictions of electoral fraud prove it was not a democratic vote, stop pretending otherwise.

The majority of UK citizens most certainly did not vote to Leave, as you put it, that is a lie. 17.4 million people out of over 60 million is a majority now?

I have highlighted the part where you wrongly stated that the majority of UK citizens voted to leave, you remember, the since deleted bit that you now lie about having written.

May get it passed if they can get a division before most of the Labour MP's get back from Brighton, wonder if Corbyn will pull his closing speech forward to 10:00 and keep it short...

Nope, Act of Parliament. Johnson won't be PM when the result of the confirmatory vote is known, he'll be lucky to last a week, maybe even today. He's already been told to get rid of Dominic Cummings. A bit like asking a chicken to cut it's own head off.

Amazing. 11 judges all agree that what Boris did was 'unlawful'. But if you listen closely to the case put forward by the spiderwoman you will quickly realize there's not a shred of evidence to support this. I fear Britain's judiciary is now totally corrupt.

My vote... ????

I hope one day she is rewarded with a seat in the Lords...

Perhaps she doesn't like cricket.

I absolutely love her. She's got one of those subtle Carribean accents. Soooo sexy. A hot chick (previous description related to "mother I'd like... auto deleted) for sure.

and a 'business woman's' (who is she?) and ex PM and Scottish nationalist are left to 'save us'?  they are all unbiased of course. Once Courts get involved with politics we end up like USA endless partisan litigation.

And where does political leaders being above the law end?

Pick any example you wish.

What because you didn’t get the ruling you wanted?!

Yet again: The result of a referendum marred by most serious electoral fraud committed by the leave campaign deserves no respect, and no honouring. Had the leave campaign shown any respect for the rule of law covering the referendum you might have had a point. They didn't and you don't, no matter how many times you repeat it.

That is what they do in Africa when they have lost an election. You're dragging British politics down to that level.

I'm sure all the Africans who have piled into Britain to exploit our standard of living are fine with that, but I am not - it is un-British and ignoble. Nobody is making any legal challenges to the validity of the vote. Just honour it. Anything else is anarchy and third-worldism.
