It's 218 in the house. That's what impeachment is -- it's done in the house. Support in the house increases every day now, and rapidly. If you're talking about the senate yes CONVICTION after impeachment will be very difficult.

It takes 2/3rds of the house their are 235 democrats they need 290 to get it through the house so unless 55 Republicans side with pelosie it will not make it through the house

DT will love BKK.  It is a personification of him.  Skyscraper City, it's a match.  And while DC is actually a sister city of BKK, his home of NYC is much closer in resemblance to BKK.

They are no closer today then they were last week. Her statement about we are starting an inquire or something is what they have been doing for over a year.

Hold a vote for impeachment and get everyone on the record. Pelosi is trying to not do that. There are over 30 democrats in districts Trump won and some by double digits. They ran as moderates, if they vote to impeach, they or toast.

The Senate will never impeach, they are so ass hurt that he won (TDS) they will as they say, cut their nose off to spite their face. Pelosi is so afraid of losing her job by all those socialist moon bats in her party.

You could also talk to the many taxi drivers in BKK, who enjoyed the Americans Soldiers, not a bad word from any

Given that it is, what, 47 years or so since the US R&R malarky ended, I doubt that there will be many taxi drivers around who remember it!

There night be some bar girls in the darker corners of Pattaya...

It is common knowledge that the days of the US GIs were the good ole days, and many of the Thais have fond memories of them.  Smoking, drinking, and eating...

Nope. It's only a simple majority needed in the house. That hit 218 today in support of the inquiry. The numbers go up daily. Also consider Pelosi might be the best vote counter in history.

It is 2/3 needed in senate to convict after the house impeaches which I will predict they will.

Quote

A simple majority of the House of Representatives (at least 218 votes) is required to impeach a U.S. President followed by a two-thirds majority vote in the Senate (at least 67 votes).

Melania doesn't look happy, always posing, never saw her smiling, but at her place who would be, having such a "ego" for a husband

Well look at the bright side. They have separate bedrooms and she's too old for him now. Also she has her lovely son. Hope he writes a book someday!

This is a business invitation.

How do you say quid pro quo in Thai?

Everything Is transactional for the current occupant of the white house. That might be OK if he was doing the business of the country instead of his own business.

Trump in Thailand????

I Love when people call President Trump Stupid!

You mean the billionaire who kicked every Democrats ass, buried 16 career Republican politicians, and continues to make fools out of once reputable news organizations ..

-You mean the guy who won the presidency?
-You mean the guy with the super model wife?
-You mean the guy whose words alone put a massive slow down on illegal border crossings?
-You mean the guy whose mere presence made the stock market smash its previous records?
-You mean the guy who created 1 million jobs in his first 7 months in office?

You sure you're not the stupid one?
You sure you even know what it is you're resisting?

Men don't hate women, white people don't hate black people, and Donald Trump is not a racist

See the spirit of Trump supporting and freedom loving America ????????

I hope your hand was on your heart and you were wrapped in Old Glory as you typed this!

Are you a member of the NRA?

now that's great news, crook inviting crook, there will be competition to determine who's the most corrupted, but with Trump, no one never knows what's next, he may not show up

Thailand may have to do Trump a "favor" (see Ukraine) or sell one of their islands (see Greenland/ Denmark) or T may decide to cancel his appearance.

Lots of funs and laughters as the generals share their corruption tricks with him.

That would be like some primary school tennis team giving tips and advice to Nadal.

Nice to see to remind us that we are the longest standing alliance. Lately this seems to be fading. Hopefully their is some reciprocal benefits for American tourists since we have open arms for Thais in America.

I would pencil it in for now. "trump" may be too busy for such a lower priority trip while he deals with getting impeached.

Yeah but he seems to often find time for a round of golf.   If he lands Air Force One at U tapao, maybe he will scurry over to Siam Country club
