The media is way too powerful, and the sheeple just parrot back what they hear. I do think he can be crude and make mistakes, but I would much rather have a president that says what he thinks, than a president who is just reading a script written by some flunky, based on opinion polls. 
How does real change happen? Painfully. That is what we are seeing now.

You seem to apply a similar broad brush. Trump bashing is fairly universal throughout the educated western World for a plethora of very valid reasons, one being him as the "Leader of the free World" praising and even visiting Despots and thereby elevating their standing in their local community.

However one should recognise that only a minority of citizens support this president and one should therefore restrict the bashing to the approx. 40% identifying themselves as Trumpkins.
