Leading on from an earlier post regarding a wine promotion, can we all start a thread for particularly good value bargains you may have seen around the island or perhaps online. 

 

I really don't want this to descend into a flame war nor is it particularly helpful to use this as an avenue to promote your business/happy hour.........

Two for the price of one in stores such as Rimping or Big C can sometimes be bargains.

I don't see many bargains in Thailand besides the credit card promotions and the cheap food after 5 at big c

 

It's a shame, back home i spent like 45mins a day on my local deal forum.. Everything i have from my country comes from an exceptional deal.  I didnt even have to pay my samsung phone, i got a double promotions where they gave me 800$ back in credits + walmart cards.

Whisky:

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban. Best price at Big C Patong for 25xx baht. About 20% cheaper then in Tops.

Good glen which is on level of other gen 18y which are in 4000-6000 price range.

 

Flight:

HKT-KUL RT

Malindo Air offers business class for 8xxx baht. Tried it 2 month ago. Comparable with MAS business class which is about double price. Since MAS going now pricewise the same route like TG Malindo is a good deal.

With MAS, you can also upgrade your seat preference online from economy to business for $50-$60 USD, so in reality MAS could come in less than Malindo and you'd get lounge access where I see Malindo doesn't have lounge access according to their website.

 

Wish I had more great deals to post, but there doesn't seem to be many great deals or sales here.

Yup you could save that way more. 

 

At HKT you have lounge access with Malindo. Same lounge like MAS.

But no MAS lounge in KUL. You get vouchers for cafe shops and restaurants. Most importent for me after the hard product is both have fast lane at KUL immigration.
