Working for a uk company on assignment in thailand

I am considering an assignment in  Thailand.  I trade as a sole trader in the UK and would like to occasionally work in thailand taking pictures and gathering information for my clients.  When entering thailand on a UK passport there is a tick box saying "tourist" or "business" pass.  If i am only working on a short assignemt of several weeks for my business in the UK would ticking this box be suffucent in working legally in Thailand. I will not be collecting money in Thailand or using a thai bank account.  All of my trade will be registered in the Uk where I will pay taxes, national insurance etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
