Any idea?  I stayed in on nut before 6 years ago...and the price per room was like 12000 bht....

so now either inflation went up or I dont know what is happening.....

I need something cheap.....400 usd per month.....near bts.....

If you "need" accommodation that cheap, you're better off not coming to Bangkok in the first place. It's well out of your price league nowadays. Go to Bangladesh instead, you'll get a cheap room there.

On line reviews its an old dump a LONG walk to MRT, no English TV , no footpaths but good alternative to backpacker's so good value in that regards

no thanks,

Would beat the heck out of living next to CIA, DEA, NGO, and missionaries trying to avoid their hosts, but yes, it is a bit far from MRT, and of course, the sidewalk sucks, but perhaps an eye opener to what you can pay in a very livable area, without having to walk by tables of sex toys and soi Arab to go grab a beer.

Maybe he "needs" it for some other reason than lack of money. I "need" a really cheap 6-month lease in Bangkok to satisfy immigration requirements for changing a visa exempt to a non-O visa. the cheaper the better. I don't "need" it due to lack of money, just the desire to minimize the cost.
