I'm always confused on this point. I believe for spousal visa 2.5x poverty rate is needed for application for the household.

1. Does this requirement only include my wife, self (2) or would it include my parents (4) if we were to stay with them temporarily? Re family size.

2. Since staying with parents is only a stop to satisfy requirement. If we were to have our own place does that decrease the count back to two persons if it were not already?

3. In the cases above, how much cash and assets would be needed? See below, thanks.

This looks simple, straight forward.  Roughly 43k for 2, 65 for 4.

If you are using your parents income/assets as part of qualifying - i.e. they are co-sponsors - then the family size is everyone in the household.

If you are just going to stay with them while resettling, then no, it is just the two of you.

Thanks. Just staying with them. So household would be two. I'd thought it was 2.5 poverty rate but it might be three. I'm having difficulty finding superficial information.

Appreciated
