Digital path the only way forward: PM

Excellent news - wondering who feed H.E. the knowledge and information as his English was non-existing some years ago in Hua Hin at the beach, where he was talked upon by some Australian tourists.

As long as Khon Thai needs to get fruit, vegetables, meats and fish in plastic bags and carried over to a weighing platform, where an employee punches in the product number, puts the bag onto a scale and affixes then a bar code tag for the cashier ..........

As long as ticketing machines are manned to bridge the operational gap between the customer and the machine ..........

As long as a bank clerk re-counts B 500'000 which have been sped-counted by a machine four times (correctly) just before ......

MONEY! That's what they want!

And a lower baht to get more foreign money flowing into the country again . Al the government plans will only make more money for the already rich , they need plans for the poor people to make money .

state agencies would have to use their massive digital data to analyse

Massive digital Data and using the word anal-lyse sounds way too funny

Civil servants should be prepared to deal with the flow of information that would come via the upcoming 5G networks.

Noting that the government has continued to promote the adoption of digital technology by state agencies over the past five years

Is this like an intrusion as in monitoring the internet by reducing the gateways to one and trapping all mobile phone sending's?

They really want a fairer re-distribution of wealth.  Prayuth could help by cutting military spending (including 50% of redundant generals); introducing a rich tax with the proceeds going towards schools and hospitals.

And Hades will freeze over first.

Computer whizz expounds his expansive digital knowledge to the rest of Thailand.

He could at least have given the Krung Thai bank a few tips to prevent the crooks hacking into his “Eat, Shop, Spend” stimulus campaign.

Funny how it is that in Thai government departments software bugs are impossible to detect by anybody other than the end user.

Prayut thinking.jpg

True. Thai websites are terrible.

Civil Servants must use "Google Search" to prove they are suitable for continued employment in this new Thai digital environment.

Ok, so the photo shows Prayuts digital 2.0. Where do the other fingers fit in his 4.0 version?

You mean his fist? That would require some self analysing.

He has also informed the Office of the Civil Service Commission that any future recruitment of new state officials in the future would have to be in line with the government’s plan to embrace the digital age. New officials must therefore have skills in digital technology . Civil servants should be prepared to deal with the flow of information that would come via the upcoming 5G networks.

They'll have to pass the Facebook challenge?

I really like when people who have absolutely no clue what they are talking about, talk about it.

Just don't forget to inject "National Security" in there somewhere, and everything will be alright.

Agree.  This guy is a poster boy for all that is wrong with politicians.  In this case no clue, no plan, just empty words that sound good to him.

Had to laugh there are a few family members (in-laws) between 20-30 years old.... always talking about money. I ask the wife wny

are they always talking about money? They don’t have any and don’t work. Then I get that look... you know that look

its a bit strange talking about something and having no intentions in the near future to earn it....
